Detailed Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in programming languages: C, C++, Java, Python, GoLang, ReactJS, Groovy.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Unix/Linux), data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with Cloud & Virtualization: Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Microservices.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a global team.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
- Familiarity with: OpenStack, DevOps, App Dev on Cloud Platforms, and Security.
- UI development using: Vaadin, React JS, Bootstrap, Material UI.
- Backend development with: J2EE, JSP, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, SQL, Node.js.
- Exposure to: AI/ML, NLP, data science tools, performance diagnostics, and server capacity planning.
- Prior experience in performance tuning and diagnostic tools is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and support IBM Systems products across software layers such as Operating Systems, Firmware, Systems Software, Storage, and Cloud Software.
- Collaborate with global product teams and interface with stakeholders to deliver high-quality product features.
- Analyze requirements, choose optimal design strategies, implement solutions, and perform rigorous testing.
- May also contribute to validation and post-deployment support of IBM Systems products.
- Engage in product lifecycle processes and apply Agile development methodologies.
