Detailed Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Less than 1 year of experience in data analytics post-graduation
- Experience with Google Workspace (Gmail, Chrome, Docs, Sheets, etc.) or similar tools
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and learn via training materials
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of SQL programming
- Knowledge of data analysis or strong interest in working with numbers/patterns
- Ability to navigate ambiguous tasks and find solutions
- Ability to work both independently and in teams
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities
- Assess data accurately, identify anomalies, and create documents for knowledge sharing
- Conduct custom analysis to uncover industry insights for Google’s customers
- Solve real-life problems while learning from experienced professionals
- Quantify the business impact of Google media recommendations
- Understand the data lifecycle and how it applies across business units
- Use tools and techniques to distill data into actionable insights
- Develop skills in spreadsheets and programming for data organization and analysis
Additional Notes
- Applicants should not have been part of any prior Government Apprenticeship programs
- Must have Aadhaar linked to mobile number and an active personal email ID
- Apprentices are expected to complete the full tenure of the program to receive a certificate
- Apprentices may apply for full-time roles at Google only in the final three months of the program
Hybrid role
- requires regular in-person work at a Google office (no relocation support during program)
- Selection process will span 18–20 weeks
- Apprenticeship duration: 24 months (~40 hrs/week, hybrid)
- Selected applicants will be colocated with teams in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, or Mumbai
- Relocation assistance provided if moving 100+ km to the assigned office
About the Program
The Google Data Analytics Apprenticeship is a 24-month learning and development program. Apprentices will gain real-world experience working with Google teams while undergoing structured external training. Participants spend 20% of their time in training and 80% on projects, gaining practical industry experience in Data Analytics.
