Detailed Eligibility
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Proven experience coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- OR equivalent industry experience in software engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science with 1+ year of technical engineering experience in one or more programming languages: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with hands-on programming experience.
Other Requirements
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
- Must pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders to determine user requirements for new features.
- Assist in identifying dependencies and developing design documents for product features.
- Learn and implement code for products, services, or features while reusing existing code where possible.
- Break down work items into tasks and provide estimates.
- Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for monitoring systems or features, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring system reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
