Software Engineer I – Java, OOPS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
- 6 months to 2 years of career experience as a Developer.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Good understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies.
- Hands-on experience in Java and OOPS concepts.
- High-energy and detail-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a matrix-based, geographically distributed team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for programming, testing, documentation, implementation, maintenance, and support of system application software.
- Design and maintain advanced applications, SDKs, test frameworks, and tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features.
- Continuously evaluate new technologies to improve development efficiency.
- Contribute to production incident management and participate in on-call support.
- Follow Mastercard’s Quality Assurance and Best Practices.
- Assist senior team members and contribute to improving project documentation and process efficiency.
