Detailed Eligibility:
🔹 Software Quality Test Engineer:

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development and testing, SCADA communications, or system integration for control systems.
• Knowledge in basic electronic engineering, electrical protection, substation automation, and SCADA.
• Ability to learn and use test tools such as protocol analyzers, simulators, and configuration tools.
• Comfortable working independently and within agile teams.
• Familiar with Substation Automation, SCADA protocols, and communication networks.
• Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols: DNP3, Modbus, IEC 60870, IEC 61850, Ethernet, IEEE 1588, cybersecurity.
• Experience with container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Join an agile team developing embedded software applications.
• Learn GE controllers and their functionalities.
• Test microservices using Docker/Kubernetes in simulated environments.
• Own and execute test cases aligned with requirements.
• Ensure traceability of test cases and report defects.
• Assist developers with defect resolution and prioritization.
• Design and execute functional, boundary, and negative testing plans.
• Maintain detailed records and report test outcomes.

Job Summary:

The Embedded Software Quality Test Engineer will be part of the R&D team developing and testing industrial control software, especially for the electrical transmission and distribution sector. Testing will involve automated, manual, and simulation methods to validate performance and compliance with industry standards.
