Detailed Eligibility:
Apprentice – IT:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 0 to 2 years IT experience
- Skills: ITIL foundations certification (Preferred)
Position Criteria:
- Basic understanding of Java/J2EE concepts.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related web technologies.
- Nice to have: Exposure to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Good communication and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow structured processes and document work clearly
- Ability to adapt and learn; to support IT environments that may contain various technology.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining AEM/Java-based applications.
- Perform basic troubleshooting of issues under supervision.
- Document recurring issues and resolutions for knowledge base.
- Collaborate with senior support engineers to escalate and resolve technical problems.
- Participate in training sessions and shadow experienced team members
- Identify opportunities for improvement.
- Follow IT Service Management (ITSM) processes: incident management, request management to serve end users and maintain high levels of performance in achieving service level agreements.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures always, including, but not limited to: ethics, data protection, information security, human resources, and compliance policies and procedures. Protect both Eaton’s physical and information assets.
