Detailed Eligibility Criteria:
- Full-time B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc Engineering pass-outs or final-year students (passing in 2026) in the following disciplines: Ceramic, Chemical, Civil, Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / IEM, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Mineral, Mining
Important Notes:
- Candidates with 3-year diploma who directly joined 2nd year of Engineering are eligible.
- Must have studied in AICTE/UGC approved full-time programs.
- Candidates must have passed the minimum qualification not earlier than March 2022.
- Preference given to candidates domiciled in Jharkhand, Punjab, Maharashtra, and Odisha.
- General Category: Minimum 65% or 6.5 CGPA can apply
- PwD / Transperson / SC / ST: Minimum 60% or 6.0 CGPA
- Age Limit (As on 01 January 2026): General: Not more than 30 years
- Transgender / PwD / SC / ST: Not more than 32 years
Program Details:
- Selected candidates will be appointed Engineer Trainees for 1 year.
- Regular performance evaluations during training.
- Upon successful completion, candidates will be offered Assistant Manager (IL6) role.
- Candidates failing to produce degree certificates by 31 August 2026 will have their training terminated.
Tata Steel Off Campus Drive Salary & Benefits:
- During Training: ₹30,000 per month (All-inclusive stipend)
- Medi-Claim coverage: ₹2,50,000 hospitalization (self only) ₹6,000 OPD per annum
- After Successful Completion: ₹7 LPA CTC
