Detailed Eligibility:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 0 – 3 years’ work experience.
- High-level scripting skills (Python, Perl, Shell scripting).
- Proficient with Linux and Windows environments.
- System Administration experience (small systems or personal networks is great).
- Understanding of manual and/or automated testing best practices.
- Desire to automate, monitor and continually improve everything in sight.
- Experience with databases (SQL, Cassandra, MongoDB) preferred.
- Knowledge of Configuration Management, automation tool building, and test automation frameworks preferred.
- Ability to maintain Windows/Linux/UNIX Servers preferred.
- Experience in server virtualization (VMWare, VSphere) preferred.
- Networking skills (Layer 2 & 3 switches, TCP/IP, SNMP, etc.) preferred.
- Experience with version control systems (CVS, Subversion, Git, etc.) preferred.
Your Impact:
- Design, build, execute, and maintain test automation (backend, UI, API).
- Create automated test scripts for non-functional system verification.
- Work within CI/CD pipelines to configure and manage multiple test environments.
- Perform requirements analysis, create/execute test strategies, troubleshoot issues, and report defects.
- Execute complex manual and automated tests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams in an agile environment.
About the Role:
AspenTech is looking for talented individuals to join the Product Quality Team as Software Quality Engineers. You will test Aspen Products that provide next-generation Engineering, Manufacturing, and Asset Optimization solutions.
